The ultimate addition to every man’s wardrobe, our bespoke service offers the finest construction with a full floating canvas, basted fitting and detailed hand finishing. This is the suit that every man wants.
Our Savile Row trained tailors are on hand to help you choose a cloth from our wide range of luxury English and Italian fabrics - from classic worsted twill for the workplace to more refined luxury wools that lend themselves beautifully to occasional suits.
We have fantastic summer ranges, including house favourites in Mohair, linen and cotton, and an extensive range of city and country tweeds for all seasons and all occasions.
Before cutting your cloth, we put the jacket and trousers together in a test cloth, known as a “toile”. At this fitting, you’ll have an in-depth discussion with one of our tailors about the fit of your suit.
Any adjustments made are then updated to your pattern so we can accurately recreate the fit for your future purchases. You’ll then come in for a final fitting where any minor alterations can be made before you take your suit away.
FULL FLOATING CANVAS
Every bespoke suit needs support in the forepart (front panels) to hold the shape. At Yardsmen we use a linen and horsehair canvas to achieve this, unlike the cheaper plastic fusing used in most ready-to-wear and many tailored suits.
Each of our fully hand stitched bespoke suits have a full length canvas which is sewn into the jacket, allowing the internals of the jacket to move. This results in the jacket sitting better on the body, giving greater comfort and breathability.
This is how a true Savile Row suit is constructed, resulting in a garment that gets better the more you wear it.
